Can a Blog Be a Narrative?

It has often been said that a blog can be a narrative. However, what does this mean? A narrative is a story with a beginning, middle and end.

It is composed of events that are linked together by a common thread or theme. In the context of a blog, this could mean that the blog is focused on one specific topic, and the author takes the time to weave together interesting stories and anecdotes about that topic.

While it is true that many blogs focus on storytelling, it is also important to note that not all blogs are narratives. For example, some blogs might simply be collections of links or articles about different topics.

While these blogs are certainly informative, they are not necessarily narratives in the same way as blogs that focus on telling one specific story.

So, while it is possible for a blog to be a narrative, it is not always the case. In fact, most blogs fall somewhere between being narratives and being link collections.

That said, there are certainly some great examples of blogs that are clearly focused on telling one specific story. These include The New Yorker magazine and The Onion website.
