There are many reasons why you might want to start a blog on Google Sites. Perhaps you’re looking for an easy way to share your thoughts and ideas with the world, or you’re just starting out and want an easy way to keep track of your progress.
Whatever your reasons, it’s definitely possible to get started on Google Sites.
To get started, first create a new Google Sites account. (Sign-up is free, and you can always cancel if you decide you don’t want to blog after all!) Once you have an account, create a new Site in your account.
You’ll be prompted to give your site a name and choose a domain (if you already have one).
Once your site is up and running, it’s time to get started writing! To start posting, click the “Posts” tab at the top of your screen and then click “New Post.” You’ll be prompted to give your post a title and then fill in the details.
For example, you can include a title, an introduction (if there is one), a body, and keywords/tags. You can also add images and other multimedia content.
Once you’ve finished writing your post, click “Publish” to upload it to your site. You’ll see the post appear in your “Posts” tab along with any comments that people have left.
If you’d like to delete a post or change its publishing status, click on the post’s title and then select “Edit.” Finally, click “Publish” again to finalize the changes.
If everything looks good and you’re happy with your blog so far, congratulations! It’s now time to take things further by monetizing it. To do this, click on the “Monetize” tab at the top of your screen and then select “Google Adsense.” You’ll be prompted to provide some information about your blog (name, website address, etc.), and once this is complete, Google will start displaying ads on your site.
You can control how many ads are displayed per page and how long they will remain displayed for (you can also opt out of ads altogether if desired). As long as you continue to publish quality content, Google will continue displaying ads on your site in accordance with your preferences.
