However, Tumblr is not permanent. Once a blog is created, it disappears after a set amount of time unless someone archives it.
Archiving means copying the content of a blog so that it can be stored permanently online. Archiving can be helpful if you want to keep a blog forever but don’t have enough space on your computer or want to share the blog with other people.
If you want to archive your Tumblr blog, there are a few things you need to do. First, go to your blog’s homepage and click on the three lines in the top right corner. This will open the Options menu. Next, click on the Archived Blogs button.
This will open the Archives page for your blog. On this page, you will need to enter the date that you want your blog to be archived and click on Save Changes. Finally, return to your blog’s homepage and click on the blue Publish button to publish your archived blog post.
