The answer to this question depends on your personal blog and WordPress setup. In general, though, you can’t change the name of your WordPress blog without disabling and then re-enabling the blog’s settings.
To change the name of your WordPress blog:
1. Log in to your WordPress blog using the account that you use to administrate it.
2. Click on the “Posts” menu item in the left sidebar and then click on the “Editing” link in the drop-down menu that appears.
3. In the “Post” editor window that opens, click on the “Settings” tab at the top of the window.
4. Under “General Settings,” click on the “Title” radio button and enter a new title for your blog in the text field that appears.
5. Click on the “Save Changes” button to apply these changes and exit out of the post editor window.
6. Click on the “Blog Status” link in the header bar of your blog to verify that your new title has been applied to all of your posts.
7. If you want to switch back to using your original title, repeat steps 4-6, but this time enter the old title in text field instead of a new one.
