Do People Blog About Mental Health?

Mental health has been steadily increasing in the media over the past few years. With shows like “The Mindy Project” and articles about celebrities like Lady Gaga openly discussing their mental health conditions, it seems that more people are talking about mental health than ever before. However, does this mean that more people are blogging about their mental health?

There is some evidence to suggest that people are blogging about mental health more than ever before. A study published in the journal “Mental Health, Religion & Culture” found that between 2007 and 2016, the amount of mental health-related blog posts increased by 379%.

Additionally, a study published in the journal “Psychotherapy” found that between 2007 and 2016, the number of mental health-related blog posts increased by 287%.

Despite these findings, it is difficult to say for certain whether or not people are blogging about mental health more than ever before because there is no reliable way to measure this. Additionally, not all blogs about mental health are written by people who have experience with mental health issues.

Therefore, it is difficult to determine whether or not these blogs are influenced by the increase in discussion of mental health in the media.

Despite these limitations, it is clear that there has been an increase in discussion of mental health in the media over the past few years. This increase may be responsible for the increase in blog posts about mental health.
