Does Blogging Generate Leads?

Blogging has been touted as an effective way to generate leads for businesses of all sizes. A study by Forbes in 2013 found that blogging can generate an online following that is three times more likely to buy a product or service from a company than a follower who does not follow the blogger.

Additionally, blog readers are 55% more likely to recommend a business to a friend than followers who don’t follow the blogger.

However, not all blogs generate leads. In fact, according to a study by BrightLocal, only 10% of blogs generate enough leads to justify the time and effort spent creating them.

Furthermore, the majority of blog readers (73%) are not even aware that the blog they are reading generates leads.

Ultimately, whether blogging generates leads is dependent on a number of factors, including the content of the blog, the approach taken to market it, and the business’s marketing strategy. However, as long as businesses create high-quality content that isrelevant to their Target audience and make an effort to market their blog effectively, they should be able to generate leads through it.
