Does Your Blog Need an RSS Feed?

An RSS feed is a great way to keep your blog up-to-date with the latest posts. Not only will you be able to keep track of new posts as they are made, but you can also subscribe to RSS feeds of other blogs so that you can read their latest posts in your browser, without having to visit the website.

If your blog does not already have an RSS feed, adding one is easy. Just go to FeedBurner and sign in.

From there, click on the “Create an RSS Feed” button and provide the necessary information. Once you’ve created your feed, you can add it to your blog’s sidebar or footer so that readers can easily find it.

If you’d like to see how an RSS feed works in action, check out The Renegade Homebrewer’s blog. His FeedBurner feed includes all of his recent posts, plus links to all of the other blogs he follows so that you can read their posts as well.

If you want to create your own RSS feed, FeedBurner offers a helpful guide on their website.
