Adding WordPress to a Magento 2 blog is relatively easy. First, you will need to install the WordPress plugin.
Then, you will need to create a new WordPress site and configure it according to your preferences. Finally, you will need to add the Magento 2 blog content to the WordPress site.
To install the WordPress plugin, visit the WordPress website and download the latest version of the plugin (.zip file). After you have downloaded the plugin, unzip it and move the plugin folder to your Magento 2 blog root directory. Next, open your Magento 2 admin area and click on “System > Settings” in the left-hand navigation bar.
In the “Settings” page, click on “Plugins” in the left-hand column and then on “Add new.” In the “Plugin Name” field, type “WordPress” and in the “Plugin Location” field, type “/usr/local/magento/2.0.0/app/plugins/WordPress/. Finally, click on “Install.”.
After you have installed the WordPress plugin, you will need to create a new WordPress site. To do this, open your web browser and go to www.wordpress.org. On the login screen, enter your username and password (if you have set them up), and then click on “Sign In.” In the main screen of WordPress, click on “Create a Site.
” In the “Site Name” field, type a name for your new WordPress site (for example, myblog), and in the “Description” field, type a brief description of your blog (for example, My Magento 2 Blog). In addition, provide a unique URL address for your blog (for example myblog.com), and click on “Create Site.
After you have created your new WordPress site, you will need to configure it according to your preferences. To do this, open your web browser and go to www.wordpress.org/extend/plugins/. In this page, select the “WordPress SEO by Yoast” plugin and click on “Install.” After you have installed the plugin, click on its icon (which looks like a green wrench) in the left-hand column of plugins and select “Configure.
” In the “WordPress SEO by Yoast” configuration page, enter your blog’s URL address in the “Site Address” field and choose a suitable theme for your blog in the “Theme Options” field. Click on “Save Changes,” and then click on “Activate Plugin.
Now that you have installed both the WordPress plugin and the WordPress SEO by Yoast plugin, it is time to add content to your new blog site. To do this, first create a new post in WordPress using one of its many user-friendly editors (such as WPCompose or BBPress). After you have created your post, copy its content into a text editor such as vim or Notepad++. Next, open your Magento 2 admin area and paste your post’s text into an empty HTML document (name it index.php). Then save this document into your blog’s root directory (for example myblog/index.
php). Finally, open index.php in a web browser and enter your blog’s URL address (for example myblog), followed by “/wp-admin/” (without quotation marks), followed by your administrator username (for example admin), followed by “/wp-login>. After you have entered these details into index.php, press Enter key to run PHP script and see results in browser window.[1].
Congratulations! You now have a working Magento 2 blog powered by WordPress!.
