There are a few ways to get started blogging on Jekyll. You can use a blog hosting service like WordPress or Blogger, or you can use a self-hosted blog platform like Jekyll.com.
Once you have your blog set up, you’ll need to install the Jekyll blogging platform. Jekyll is an easy to use platform that makes creating and publishing a blog easy. Once you have installed and configured Jekyll, you’re ready to start blogging!.
To create a new blog on Jekyll, first visit the website and sign in with your account information. Then click on the “New Blog” button on the left-hand side of the screen. On the “Blog Title” field, enter a title for your blog.
In the “Blog Description” field, enter a brief description of your blog. Click on the “Create Blog” button to create your new blog.
To publish new content to your blog, first click on the “Posts” tab on the left-hand side of the screen. On the “Posts” tab, you’ll see a list of all of the posts that have been published to your blog so far. To publish a new post, click on the “Publish Post” button next to the post that you want to publish. Jekyll will create a new file called “post_name.
html” and populate it with the contents of your post. To preview your post before publishing it, click on the “Preview Post” button next to the post that you want to publish.
To delete a post from your blog, first click on the “Posts” tab on the left-hand side of the screen and then click on the post that you want to delete. On the “Post Details” tab, you’ll see a list of all of the information associated with that post.
Underneathneath “Post Date”, you’ll see an “Erase this Post” button. Click on that button to delete that post from your blog.
To manage your blog posts and pages, use the menus located beneath each tab in the “Posts” and “Pages” tabs respectively. The menus include options like adding new posts, managing posts and pages, deleting posts and pages, editing posts and pages, and more!
