How Do I Change the Default Blog Template in WordPress?

If you are unhappy with the default WordPress blog template, there are a few ways to change it. The most common way to change the template is to use the WordPress customizer. To use the customizer, click on the Admin menu and then click on Themes. Click on the desired theme and then under the General tab, click on the Default Theme link. Click on the Edit link next to the Default Template field and then enter a new name for your template in the Name field. You can also change the look and feel of your template by changing the layout options. To do this, click on the Blog Layout tab and then under the Category section, select either Single Column or Columns. Click on the desired layout option and then make your changes in the Options fields.

To change other settings, such as font size and color, click on the Customize Fields tab and then make your changes. When you are finished, click on Save Changes at the bottom of the screen. You can also create a custom blog template using a blogging platform such as Blogger or WordPress.com. Once you have created your template, you can upload it to your WordPress site using FTP or SFTP and then import it into your WordPress site using the Import/Export feature. To do this, go to File -> Import -> Blog from Another Site…and enter in your FTP or SFTP information. When you are finished importing your template, click on Save Changes at the bottom of the screen.
