How Do I Create a Blog Category in Webflow?

Creating a Blog Category in Webflow can be done through the blog settings screen. To access this screen, click on the blog name in the left-hand column of your Webflow dashboard and then select Settings from the menu. On the Blog Settings screen, under Categories, you will see a list of all of your blog’s categories.

To create a new category, click on the + icon to the right of the category name and then enter a name for your new category. Once you have entered a name for your new category, click on the Save button to save your changes.

To add a post to your newly created category, simply select it from the Categories list on your blog settings screen and then click on the Add Post button. You will then be taken to the post editor for that post, where you can add content and configure any other settings that are specific to that post.

When you are finished editing that post, simply click on the Publish button to publish it to your blog and add it to the Categories list on your blog settings screen.

Now that you have created a new category in Webflow, you will want to make sure that it is properly populated with posts. To do this, first search for posts that are relevant to your new category in the Posts list on your blog settings screen.

Once you have found a few posts that you would like to include in your category, select them from the Posts list and then click on the Mark As Featured button. This will add a badge next to each of those posts indicating that they are featured content for your new category.
