As a web designer or developer, you might be familiar with the popular design program Elementor. Elementor is a great tool for creating and managing website designs.
However, if you’re not familiar with it, you might be wondering how to create a blog template in Elementor. In this article, we’ll show you how to create a blog template in Elementor using the popular “blog theme” option.
Assuming you have an existing website or project that you want to turn into a blog, the first step is to open up Elementor and navigate to File > New Project. (Figure 1).

Once you’ve opened up the New Project window, select Blog Template from the left column (Figure 2). This will open up the Blog Template dialog box (Figure 3).

In this dialog box, you’ll need to choose your desired blog template. If you’re new to blogging, we recommend checking out our guide on How To Start A Blog (https://www.sitepoint.com/how-to-start-a-blog/).
Once you’ve selected your desired blog template, click on the OK button.
Now that we’ve created our blog template in Elementor, let’s take a look at how to create a blog post using this template. To start off, open up your project window and select a page or section of your website that you want to turn into a blog post (for example, our homepage in Figure 4).

Once you’ve selected your desired page or section, click on the Edit button located in the top right corner of the editor window (Figure 5). This will open up the Blog Post editor window.
In this window, you’ll need to enter some information about your blog post such as its title, author name, and content (Figure 6).
