How to Export Your Blog Posts from Shopify
If you have created valuable blog posts and would like to export them to a different platform, such as WordPress or Tumblr, there are a few steps you need to take.
First, you will need to login to your Shopify account and click on the “Posts” tab. Then, click on the “Export” button located in the lower-left corner of the screen.
On the next page, you will be asked to select a format for your exported posts. You have three options: HTML, PDF, orTextile. HTML is the most popular format and will allow your blog posts to be viewed in a web browser.
PDF is a more durable format and can be used for printing. Textile is a format that is designed for mobile devices and can be read using apps such as Kindle or iBooks.
After choosing a format, you will need to provide some information about your exported posts. The first item is the title of your post. The second is the author of your post. The third is the date of your post. The fourth is the category of your post.
The fifth is the excerpt of your post. The sixth is the language of your post. The seventh is the thumbnail image of your post. Finally, you will need to provide contact information such as an email address and website address where people can find more information about your exported posts.
When you are finished providing information, click on the “Export Posts” button at the bottom of the page. Your exported posts will then be uploaded to Shopify and will be available for viewing on your website or blog.
