If you want your WordPress blog to look good, you have a few options. You can use a theme, or you can use some of the built-in features of WordPress.
Theme Options
If you want to use a theme, the first thing you need to do is find one that looks good and fits your style. There are a lot of free and premium themes available, so there’s definitely something for everyone.
Once you’ve found a theme, the next step is to install it. To do this, go to your WordPress blog’s homepage and click the “Themes” link.
On the next page, click the “Install Themes” button.
Next, click through the checklist that appears and make sure that everything is set up correctly. Once everything is checked off, click the “Apply The Theme” button.
Now your blog looks different but probably still looks mostly like WordPress. To make it look really good, you’ll need to use some of the built-in features of WordPress.
WordPress Features
One way to make your blog look better is to use some of the built-in features of WordPress. For example, you can change the background color and font size using the Appearance panel in WordPress.
You can also change the layout using Categories and Tags pages or using custom post types.
