If you want to start a blog and host it yourself, there are a few things you will need to do.
First, create a blog account on Blogger or WordPress.com. Once you have an account, create a new blog and fill out the required information.
Next, go to your hosting provider and sign up for a domain name and hosting account. Once you have your domain name and hosting account set up, you can begin setting up your blog.
To set up your blog on Blogger, click the “Blogger” link on the top left corner of the Blogger homepage, and then click the “Settings” link in the navigation bar at the top of the page. On the Settings page, click “Hosting” in the left column and then click “Add a Domain.” Enter your domain name in the “Domain Name” field and click “Go.” In the “Hosting Provider” field, enter your hosting provider’s domain name (for example, www.site1.com) and click “OK.” In the “Blog Address” field, enter your blog address (for example, myblog.blogspot.
com), and then click “OK.” Finally, in the “Design Your Blog Address” field, enter a memorable blog address for your blog (for example, mybloggoals.com), and then click “OK.”.
To set up your blog on WordPress.com, log in to your WordPress account and go to your Settings page. Click “Appearance” in the left column and then click “Editor: General Settings: Domain . .
Name Servers: Add a New Hostname (DNS).” In the “Hostname(s) to Use for This Site” field, enter your domain name (for example, www.site1domain.com), and then click “Add Hostname(s).” In the “Primary DNS Server(s) for This Site” field, enter your primary DNS server(s) (for example, ns1.site1domain.com), and then click “Add DNS Server(s).” Finally, in the “Secondary DNS Server(s) for This Site” field, enter your secondary DNS server(s) (for example, ns2.” Click OK to save these settings and return to the Editor: General Settings: Domain box on your Settings page. Click OK to save these settings and return to your WordPress site.).
Now that you have registered your blog with Blogger or WordPress.com and set up a hosting account with your hosting provider – it is time to start setting up your blog!
To set up posts on Blogger or WordPress., first open an existing post or create a new post using one of these blogging platforms’ easy-to-use editors.
Once you have opened an existing post or created a new post using either platform’s editor: .

Finally hit Publish at the bottom of either platform’s editor window.. You will now see that your post has been published on both platforms! You can now view/edit/delete this post on either platform as needed!
