In most cases, you will want to set your blog page as your homepage in WordPress. To do this, you will first need to create a new WordPress blog. Once you have created your blog, click on the “Pages” link in the left-hand navigation bar. This will open the Pages screen. Click on the “Add New Page” button located in the bottom-left corner of the screen. In the “Title” field, type your blog’s title. In the “Description” field, type a brief description of your blog. Click on the “Create Page” button to save your changes. Next, click on the “Appearance” tab located in the Pages screen. Under “Theme”, select the theme that you want to use for your blog page. Under “Layout”, select either the default WordPress layout or one of several other layouts that are available.
In the “Front-End Options” area, set the page’s title and description as desired, and click on the “Save Changes” button to save your changes. Finally, click on the “Blog Content” tab to add content to your blog page. To add a post, click on the “Posts” link located in the left-hand navigation bar and then click on the “Add New Post” button located in the bottom-left corner of the screen. In the “Title” field, type a title for your post. In the “Body” field, type your post’s content. Click on the “Publish Post” button to publish your post and return to the Blog Content tab. To remove a post from your blog page, click on its title and then click on the “Delete Post” button located in the bottom-right corner of its detail screen. Finally, click on the blue link located in front of each post’s title that reads “[post name] – [date]”. This will open a screen where you can view and edit that post’s details. To set your blog page as your homepage in WordPress, click on its blue link and then enter http://[your_blog_domain]/ into both of its fields.
