PS4 owners who are subscribed to PlayStation’s Official Newsletter may have noticed an influx of updates and messages from the platform recently. If you’re not currently receiving these messages, it’s easy to turn on your subscription.
To subscribe to PlayStation’s Official Newsletter, head to the Settings menu on your PS4 and select “Notifications.” From here, you’ll be able to select which messages you want to receive from PlayStation.
You can also disable notifications for specific apps or games.
If you’d like to unsubscribe from PlayStation’s Official Newsletter, head back to the Settings menu and select “Notifications” again. From here, you can unselect all of the messages you previously chose to receive.
Finally, make sure that “PlayStation Official Newsletter” is selected as your preferred notification source.
