How Do You Cite a Blog Post With No Author?

When citing a blog post, be sure to include the author’s name and the blog’s URL. You can find the author’s name by looking at the first sentence of the post, or by using the Google search bar and typing in the author’s name. For example, if you are citing a post from “The Huffington Post,” you would type “The Huffington Post” into the Google search bar and then click on the “Search Results” link that appears. After clicking on the “Search Results” link, you would click on the “Huffington Post” link that appears. The Huffington Post’s website will open up in a new page, and on this page you will find the author’s name: Arianna Huffington. The Huffington Post’s website includes a box near the top of the page where you can enter in the URL of a particular blog post that you are trying to cite.

After entering in the URL of a particular blog post, click on “Copy Link.” This will copy the URL of the blog post text so that you can paste it into your citation. After pasting in the URL of a particular blog post, you would put quotation marks around it (for example: “The Huffington Post”). After putting quotation marks around it, you would type in “Arianna Huffington.” After typing in Arianna Huffington, you would press Enter on your keyboard. After pressing Enter on your keyboard, your citation for this blog post would look like this:.
