An article on citing sources in a blog can be a little daunting, especially if you’re not used to it. But don’t worry, with just a few simple steps, you can easily get up to speed.

To cite a source in a blog post, start by finding the name of the person, organization, or website you’re quoting. This can be done by looking in the text of your article or using a search engine.

Once you’ve found the name, use it in your sentence.

For example: In her article “5 Tips for Better Blogging,” Bree Smith cites “5 Tips for Better Blogging” by Monica Hesse.
The next step is to find the date of the article or the date of your quote.

This can be done by looking at the end of the sentence where the source is mentioned or by using a search engine. Finally, use this information in your sentence as well.

For example: In her article “5 Tips for Better Blogging,” Bree Smith cites “5 Tips for Better Blogging” from September 24, 2013.
