How Do You Delete a Blog Post?

If you want to delete a blog post, you’ll first need to find the post you want to delete. You can find posts by using the “Search” function on the blog’s homepage, or by using the “Posts” menu on the left-hand side of the blog’s main page. Once you’ve located the post you want to delete, click on it to open its page. Next, click on the “Edit” button located at the bottom of the post’s page. On the “Edit Post” page, click on the “Delete” button located in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. If you’re deleting a post that’s been published on your blog’s main page, be sure to also click on the “Publish” button before clicking on the “Delete” button. The post will be removed from your blog and any comments that have been made will be deleted as well. If you’re deleting a post that’s been published in one of your blog’s sub-pages, be sure to first click on the sub-page’s name (in brackets after the post’s title) in order to open it in its own separate window. Next, click on the “Edit” button located at the bottom of each sub-page’s page. On the “Edit Post” pages for each sub-page, click on the “Delete” button located in the bottom right-hand corner of each screen.

Once you’ve deleted a post, it won’t appear in either of your blog’s main pages or in any of its sub-pages. If you’d like to keep a copy of a deleted post for your records, you can do so by clicking on the “Download Post As.” link that appears next to each deleted post’s title when you’re editing it. Finally, be sure to save your changes before clicking on either of these links. When you’re finished editing your posts, be sure to publish them by clicking on either of these two buttons: “Publish All Posts” or “Publish Selected Posts”. When you publish your posts, they’ll appear in both your blog’s main pages and in any of its sub-pages that have been created as a result of publishing those posts.
