Given that Instagram is a platform that primarily focuses on visual content, it can be difficult to get your personal blog onto Instagram. However, there are some simple steps that you can take to get started.
First, you will need to create a profile for your blog on Instagram. This can be done by going to https://www.instagram.com/ and inputting your username (which will be your blog’s name) and password.
Once you have logged in, you will be able to click on the “Create a Profile” button in the top right corner of the main screen.
Next, you will need to create a post for your blog. To do this, first click on the “Posts” tab in the top left corner of the main screen.
From here, you will be able to see all of the posts that have been uploaded to your account so far. Click on the “Create a Post” button next to the post that you want to use for your Instagram profile.
Next, you will need to select the “Instagram Profile Type” from the dropdown menu located under “Post Type.” This will allow you to choose which type of content your post will be based on – either a photo or a video.
Once you have made your selection, click on the “Create Post” button.
Finally, you will need to add a link to your post from your blog’s website. To do this, copy and paste the following code into the body of your blog post: Your Username – This will add your username’s Instagram profile URL (which should look something like instagram.
com/username/) as a link directly below your text in the post’s textarea box. You can also add this URL directly into your Instagram profile bio if you want!.
Now that you have added all of the necessary information and links, it is time to upload some photos or videos from your blog! Simply click on the “Upload Photos or Videos” button located under “Post Type” in any post that you have created and select which content type you would like to upload from – photos or videos! Once you have selected which content type you would like to upload, simply click on the “Upload Photos or Videos” button again and start uploading!
Once all of your photos or videos have been uploaded, it is time to finish up by adding some additional information about your post (such as a summary or caption). You can do this by clicking on the “Summary” tab located under “Post Type” and filling out any required information (such as what topic your post covers). You can also add a caption for each photo or video if desired – simply type it into the textarea box next to each one and hit enter!
