Is Blog a CMS?

Blog is not a CMS, but it can still be used to create a website. A blog is simply a website that is written and hosted by someone other than the company that sells the product or service. This means that you, as the blogger, are responsible for maintaining the blog, creating new content, and promoting it.

However, if you use a blogging platform like WordPress or Tumblr, then a third-party service provider (like Google) takes care of most of the maintenance for you. So, while blog isn’t technically a CMS, it can still be used to create a website.

That being said, one of the biggest benefits of using a blogging platform like WordPress or Tumblr is that they come with built-in engines that make it easy to create a website. With WordPress, you can use its built-in publishing platform to create posts, add images and videos, and manage your site’s SEO (search engine optimization).

With Tumblr, you can use its built-in blogging platform as well as its social media management tools to share your content with your followers.

So while blog isn’t technically a CMS, it can still be used to create websites. In fact, many people start their own blogs before ever creating an actual website.

And if you’re looking for something more robust than just a simple blog platform, then using one of WordPress or Tumblr’s built-in engines might be the best option for you.
