Is Blog Enabled by Default in Drupal?

When you first sign up for Drupal, you are prompted to create a new site or to import an existing site. If you choose to import an existing site, Drupal will ask if you want to enable blog support.

Blog support is enabled by default in Drupal 8. If you have disabled blog support on your site, you can enable it by following these steps: .

Log in to your site’s admin area.

Select the Configuration tab at the top of the page.

Under “Content”, click on the Blog link.

If you have disabled blog support on your site, you will see the following message: “Blog is not enabled on this site.” Click on the Enable Blog button to enable it.

If you have enabled blog support on your site, you will see the following message: “Blog is enabled on this site.” Click on the Edit button to modify any settings.

When you first enable blog support on your Drupal site, a default blog administrator account will be created for you. This account has all of the necessary permissions to manage your blog and its content.

You can also create additional accounts for other people who need access to your blog. To add an account, follow these steps: .

Select the Users tab at the top of the page.
Click on the Add User link next to the desired user name and email address.

Enter a name for the new user and click on the Save button. .

You can now add content and manage permissions for this user by following these steps:

Log in as the new user with credentials that were given when they were added to Drupal.

Open the Posts screen in your admin area by clicking on Posts in the main menu and then clicking on Posts->Post Types->All Posts.

Select each post that you would like to manage and then click on Permissions in the toolbar that appears above each post. In addition, click on View All Users in roles associated with this post type (if any) and then click on Edit Role Permissions beneath each role name in order for that user to have access to all content within that post type (or any post type within their role).
