Is Blogging a Passive Income?

There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question, as the amount of passive income a blogger can generate will depend on the specific circumstances and goals of that individual blog. However, a general guideline could be that blogging is generally considered to be a passive income source if a blog’s main purpose is to provide information and/or entertainment for readers without requiring any additional effort from the blogger.

In other words, if blogging is simply a way to share your thoughts and ideas with the world, then it may be classed as a passive income source.

However, if you are actively promoting your blog and actively seeking out ways to generate more revenue from it, then it may not be classified as a passive income source. It all comes down to how involved you want to be in running your blog and generating revenue from it.

If you’re happy with just sharing your thoughts and ideas with the world and letting others do the marketing for you, then blogging may be considered a passive income source. However, if you’re looking for ways to generate more revenue from your blog – such as selling advertising space or signing up sponsors – then it may not be classified as a passive income source.

Ultimately, it is up to each individual blogger to decide whether or not blogging is considered to be a passive income source based on their own personal circumstances and goals.
