Netflix has recently added Dr Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog to their repertoire of streaming content. The show is a satire of popular 1990s sitcoms, and is centered around the title character, Dr. Horrible (played by Neil Patrick Harris).
The show follows Dr. Horrible as he schemes to become a famous singer, while also dealing with the ramifications of his bad decisions.
While some viewers may be hesitant to add a show centered around bad puns and sing-alongs to their list of priorities, Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog is actually a very well-made show. The jokes are clever, and the cast is excellent.
Harris does a great job portraying the ridiculousness of Dr. Horrible’s character, and the supporting cast is equally as talented.
Overall, Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog is an entertaining show that should not be missed by anyone looking for a good laugh.
While it may not be the most serious or important show on Netflix, it is definitely worth watching if you are in the mood for some lighthearted entertainment.
