Is Personal Blogging Still a Thing?

Personal blogging – the act of writing about one’s own life and experiences online – is alive and well according to a recent study. In fact, 73% of respondents said they have created a personal blog in the past five years, while 45% report they still blog.

A majority of bloggers also say that their blogs have helped them connect with others (71%), share their knowledge and experience (68%), and build their brand (66%).

Overall, these findings suggest that personal blogging is a popular way for people to connect with others and share their knowledge and experiences. However, there are a few caveats worth noting. First, it’s important to remember that not all blogs are personal – many are written by organizations or professionals in the industry.

Additionally, while blogs are often used to build brand awareness, they may not be as effective when it comes to generating sales or generating leads. That said, if you’re looking to build a following and connect with others in your industry, personal blogging is an effective way to do so.
