The Borgen Project is a blog. It covers political news and commentary, with a focus on Denmark. The blog is run by two journalists, Kasper Rygaard and Jakob Ellemann-Jensen, who work together as the blog’s editors.
The Borgen Project is not affiliated with any political party or organization. In addition to writing articles, the editors occasionally provide content for other websites, such as the Copenhagen Post’s politics blog.
The Borgen Project’s stated purpose is to “provide informed and critical commentary on Danish politics and policy.” In practice, the blog has been critical of both the governing Social Democrats and the opposition Conservative Party.
The Borgen Project has also been critical of Denmark’s immigration policies and its relationship with Germany.
The editors of The Borgen Project have themselves been the Target of criticism from various quarters. Kasper Rygaard has been accused of being a left-wing journalist who is biased against the Conservative Party, while Jakob Ellemann-Jensen has been accused of being a right-wing journalist who is biased against the Social Democrats.
