Is There Such a Thing as an Audio Blog?

There is no definitive answer to this question as it largely depends on the definition of “audio blog.” For the purposes of this article, an audio blog will be defined as a website or online platform that consists of audio content, typically in the form of podcasts or radio shows.

While audio blogs are not yet mainstream, there is evidence to suggest that they are growing in popularity. A study conducted by ListenFirst Media in 2016 found that podcast listenership was on the rise, with almost half (47%) of Americans aged 18-34 reporting that they had listened to a podcast in the past month.

Additionally, a survey conducted by Edison Research in 2018 found that 57% of American adults use audio content as their primary way of consuming news.

Given these findings, it seems likely that audio blogs will continue to grow in popularity and become more mainstream over time. While there is no definitive answer to the question of whether or not there is such a thing as an audio blog, based on these findings it seems likely that there is indeed such a thing as an audio blog.
