The PlayStation 5 is now officially announced by Sony and it seems that the PS4 racing wheels will be compatible with it. Earlier this month, a report surfaced that the PS5 might not have a built-in version of the Xbox One controller, but rather use a new controller that’s been in development for some time.
Now, according to Sony’s latest blog post, the company has confirmed that the PS4 racing wheels will work with the PS5. This means that gamers who already own a racing wheel like the Logitech G29 will be able to use it on the new console.
It’s not clear if other controllers like the Xbox One steering wheel will work with the PS5 as well, but we’ll have to wait and see.
Overall, this is great news for fans of racing games. Not only will they be able to continue playing their favorite titles on the new console, but they won’t have to spend money on an additional controller.
