In this article, we will be discussing the use of a content management system (CMS) to create a blog. We will be using WordPress as our CMS.
WordPress is a popular content management system that can be used for a wide variety of purposes, including blogging. WordPress is free and easy to use, and it has a wide variety of plugins that can be used to customize it to your specific needs.
To create our blog, we first downloaded and installed WordPress onto our server. Once installed, we created a new blog using the WordPress setup wizard.
We chose the “Blogging from Scratch” option and entered in the basic information necessary to create our blog, including the name of our blog (“Our Blog”), the URL of our blog (http://ourblog.com), and the title of our first post (“Setting Up Our Blog”).
Once we had completed the setup process, we created our first post by entering in the title, content, and tags that we wanted our post to have. We also included a link to our website in the post body.
Finally, we clicked on the “Publish Post” button to publish our post to our blog.
We are happy with how our blog looks so far! Our next step is to add additional content to our blog using WordPress plugins. We will be discussing some of the most popular WordPress plugins for blogging in future articles.
