After over 10 years of blogging, Sew Mama Sew Blog has unfortunately ceased operations. We are still receiving comments and emails from readers, though, so we know that they are still out there!
What Happened to Sew Mama Sew Blog?
Sew Mama Sew Blog was started in 2007 by author and seamstress Nicole Johnson. The blog was focused on giving sewers the resources they need to improve their sewing skills.
Nicole’s writing was clear and concise, and she offered helpful tutorials, how-to’s, and product reviews.
The blog grew steadily in popularity, with over 250,000 followers as of 2017. However, in early 2018 Nicole announced that she was going to take a break from blogging to focus on her own business.
She said that she wanted to “give [her] all to [her] new business venture.”.
