Blog Sina is an online media company in China. It was founded in 2004 by Jianguo Yang, and is headquartered in Beijing. The company has a portfolio of websites, including Sohu.com, Tencent.
com, and NetEase.com. Blog Sina also operates Sina Weibo, the largest microblogging platform in China with over 230 million active users as of December 2016. The company has been listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange since 2014.

In addition, the company operates Sina Weibo, which is China’s largest microblogging platform. As of December 2016, Sina Weibo had 230 million active users.
The company has been involved in a number of controversies over the years. In 2014, Blog Sina was among the companies Targeted by the Chinese government’s “Operation Fox Hunt”.
The operation involved the government tracking down and Shutting down websites that it deemed to be opposed to state policy. Blog Sina was among the Targets of this operation.
In 2016, Blog Sina was among the companies that were subject to a cyber attack that resulted in the theft of user data from several of its websites.
