What Is Disqus Blog Comments?

Disqus Blog Comments is a commenting system for blogs that lets you manage your comments and spam easily. Disqus Blog Comments works with any blog platform, and it’s free to use.

To start using Disqus Blog Comments, sign in to your Disqus account and click the “Add a Comment” link on your blog’s home page. (If you don’t have a Disqus account, you can create one here.)

Once you’ve added a comment, you can manage it by clicking the “Edit Comment” link next to the comment text box. Here, you can delete the comment, change its title, or hide it from public view.

You can also reply to the comment directly from this page.

To disable comments on your blog altogether, go to the “Settings” tab and uncheck the box next to “Enable comments on this blog.”

Finally, if you want to contact someone who commented on your blog post but don’t know their Disqus username (or if you just want to track down their contact information), click the “Contact Commenter” link next to their name. From here, you can send them a private message or email address, and Disqus will provide their username and other contact information for you automatically.
