What Is Newsletter CPM?

Newsletter CPM is a metric that measures the cost-per-thousand (CPM) of a campaign’s email list. The metric is calculated by dividing the total cost of acquiring a list (including any fees paid to a third-party email marketing provider) by the number of emails sent from that list.

This metric can be used to measure the profitability of an email campaign, as well as to determine the effectiveness of various marketing efforts. Generally speaking, campaigns with lower CPMs are more affordable and likely to produce stronger ROI results.

However, it’s important to note that not all campaigns with low CPMs are effective. Poor design and ineffective CTAs can also lead to low CPMs.

Ultimately, it’s up to the campaign manager to ensure that their email marketing efforts are achieving their desired results.
