However, there are times when a different citation format may be more appropriate. For example, if you are citing a blog post that is part of a series, you would use the author’s last name and the date of the post followed by “Series name (number): Blog post title.” For example, if you were citing a post from The Huffington Post that is part of their series on “3 Ways to Save on Groceries,” the citation would read as follows:.
