What Was the Blog Before MySpace?

There was a time before MySpace. In fact, there were several social networking sites that predated MySpace. These included Myspace, Friendster, and Ning. Myspace was the first social networking site to be created and originally used dial-up internet access.

It was founded in 2003 by Chris DeWolfe and Tom Anderson. The site quickly rose to popularity, with over 100 million users as of 2009. However, MySpace was forced to shutter its doors in 2011 due to declining web traffic and user engagement.

While MySpace was the most popular social networking site in its time, it has since been surpassed by newer sites such as Facebook and Twitter. However, MySpace still has a sizable following and continues to be used by many people today as a way to connect with friends and family.
