Adding an older post button to your blog is a simple process that can help you keep track of your older posts. To add an older post button, follow these steps:
1. Log in to your blog’s admin area.
2. Click on “Settings” in the left-hand navigation bar.
3. Under “Appearance,” click on “Customize.”
4. In the “Customize Custom Fields” section, click on the “Post Buttons” tab.
5. In the “Post Buttons” section, under the ” Older Posts” heading, click on the “Add New Button” button.
6. In the “Add New Button” window, fill in the following information:
Name: Older Posts Button
Description: This is an older post button that will show posts from a specific date range.
The Date Range: Today – 7 Days Ago
The Minimum Age: 1 Month Old (This is to ensure that posts with less than 1 month old are displayed) The Maximum Age: 7 Days Old (This is to ensure that posts older than 7 days are displayed) The Category: All Posts (This will allow posts from all categories to be displayed) The Author: Your Name (This will show as the author of all posts displayed with this button) Click on the “OK” button to save your changes.
7. On your blog’s home page, you’ll now see a new Older Posts Button next to the “All Posts” link at the top of the page. Click on it to view posts from the selected date range!.
