Pinterest is a visual bookmarking site where users can pin (or “pinboard”) images and videos to their boards for later reference. Anyone with a Pinterest account can add pins, and boards are limited to a maximum of 20,000 pins.
Adding a WordPress blog to Pinterest is easy. First, create a new Pinterest board for your blog.
You can use the same name as your blog or choose a different name. Next, find the “Add a Pin” button on the left side of your blog’s main page and click it.
On the “Pin It” page that appears, copy the embed code for your blog’s front-page video or image. Then, paste the code into the text box at the bottom of the “Pin It” page.
Click “Pin It.”.
Your pin will now appear on your blog’s main page and in all of your followers’ pins’ lists. If you’d like to make your pin private, you can do so by clicking on the lock icon next to your pin’s title.
To make your pin public again, simply un-lock it.
