How Do You Cite a Source in a Blog Post?

When citing a source in a blog post, you should generally include the following information:

1. The full name of the author or source
2. The date of the article or publication
3. A brief description of the article or publication
4.

The website or blog from which you obtained the information
5. The URL of the article or publication
6. If you paraphrase the text from the article, please include a citation for the original source as well.

For example, if you are quoting an excerpt from an article on Forbes.com, your citation might look like this:
“According to Forbes, Facebook will rake in $27 billion in ad revenue in 2018.” (Forbes, 2018)

If you are quoting an entire article, please include both the title and author of the article: “Facebook to rake in $27 billion in ad revenue by 2020” (Sharma, Rohan 2016).
