When you want to start a blog on Medium, the first thing you need to do is create an account. Once you have an account, you can create a new blog by clicking on the “create a blog” button on the home page.
When you create your new blog, Medium will give you a few options for setting up your blog. You can choose to have Medium host your blog for you, or you can choose to host your blog yourself.
If you choose to host your blog yourself, Medium provides walkthroughs on how to set up your own blog and host it using a hosting provider like WordPress.
Once your blog is set up, you need to add content. To add content, click on the “posts” button on the home page and then select “posts from this account.
” From there, you will be able to add new posts or re-publish old posts.
To publish your post, simply click on the “publish” button and fill in the details of your post. You can also include images and videos if you want.
Once your post is published, it will appear in the “posts” section of the home page and will be available for people to read.
If you want people to be able to email or follow your blog, you need to add a contact form and/or social media links. To add a contact form, click on the “contact us” button on the home page and fill out the details of your contact form.
You can also include social media links in your post if you want people to be able to follow your blog via social media.
Finally, if you want people to be able to comment on your posts, you need to add a comments section at the bottom of each post. To add a comments section, click on the “comments” button and fill out the details of your comments section.
You can also include images and videos if you want. Once your comments are posted, they will appear below each post in the “comments” section of the home page.
