A blog category is a specific category that a blog can be placed into. Categories can help people find blogs that share similar interests, and they can also help you to organize your blog content.
When you create a new post, it will automatically be placed into the category that you have chosen. You can change your blog category at any time by clicking on the “Categories” link on the left side of the main blog page.
If you want to create a new category, you first need to think about what kinds of topics your blog will cover. You can then use the “Types of Blog Posts” section of the “Settings” page to help you create specific categories for your blog.
Once you have created your categories, you will need to add a few posts to each one before you can make them active. To add a post to a category, simply click on the “Add New Post” link in that category’s header.
Once you have created and populated your categories, it is important to place your blog posts into thematic groups. This will help people find your posts more easily, and it will also make it easier for you to write content that is specifically tailored to each category.
You can do this by using the “Topics” section of the “Settings” page. This section will display all of the topics that are currently being covered on your blog, as well as all of the posts that are in related categories.
When you are writing a new post, it is important to consider how it will fit into one of your existing categories or themes. This will help you to create content that is both relevant and interesting to your readers.
If you find that a particular post doesn’t fit well within one of your existing categories, you can always place it into a new category by using the “Create New Category” link in its header.
Finally, it is important to remember that not every post should be placed into a specific category. Some posts may be better suited for general discussion or for sharing tips and advice instead of being placed into a specific theme or topic area.
If this is the case, simply place these types of posts near the bottom of your blog list and make sure they are easy to find for readers.
