What Version of PowerShell Am I Using for This Blog?

If you’re reading this on a Windows 8.1 or 10 computer, you’re using PowerShell version 3.0. If you’re reading this on a Windows 7 or 2008 R2 computer, you’re using PowerShell version 2.

0. If you’re reading this on an older Windows computer, you’re using PowerShell version 1.

When I started this blog, I used PowerShell version 3.0 because that’s what was available on my computer. As of this writing, PowerShell version 4.0 is now available, so I’ve switched to using that version of the program.

However, if I ever upgrade my computer to a Windows 10 machine, I’ll probably switch to using PowerShell version 5.0 instead since that’s the latest and greatest release of the program at the time of this writing.

In conclusion, if you’re reading this blog on a Windows 8.
